At 02:30 on October 16, 2025, Christie’s “20th and 21st Centuries: London Evening Sale” was held as scheduled in London.The auction had 61 lots, with a total transaction value of 107 million pounds and a total transaction rate of 90%, of which 31% of the lots were sold above the estimated price and 51% of the lots were sold within the estimated price. 

A total of 1 million-level auction item and 25 million-level auction items were producedAmong them, Peter Doig's "Ski Jacket" was sold for 14.27 million pounds, becoming the top seller of the session.

New Record:

1. Many artists, including Paula Rigaud, Suzanne Valadon, and Anne Morris, have broken their personal records;
2. Several artists, including Hilvin Anderson, Chris Ofili, and Morris Denny, set new second-highest prices for artists;
3. Robert Mangold sets new record for third highest price for an artist;
    

TOP1 transaction in this session:

Peter Doig's "Ski Jacket" was sold for £12 million, plus premium of £14.27 million.

TOP2 transactions in this session:

Peter Doig's "Country Rock" was sold for £7.6 million, plus premium for £9.21 million.

TOP3 transactions in this session:

Lucian Freud's "Self-portrait Fragment" was sold for £6.2 million, plus premium for £7.6 million.
