News, on December 2, 2023, China Guardian's "Contemporary Chinese Painting and Calligraphy" officially raised the hammer. Sun Tzu Yao's "Guo Linka" was estimated at CNY 8,000-12,000, and was hammered down for CNY 350,000, plus commission for CNY 402,500.Refresh personal auction record(Breaking the record held by Rongbao Auction Beijing's "Plateau Poppy" CNY 138,000 on July 1, 2023). The size of this work is 125.0×248.0 cm, approximately 27.9 square feet.

Sun Tzu Yao replaced the tools of drawing with the subject of pure life in Tibet.Living with those relatives and friends, and building a big family with no gaps between them, during this time, he has unconsciously become a "local". Even though there is a sense of live sketching in these pictures, he does not treat these live things as still life objects placed aside.Instead, he first becomes them, becomes one with the things he paints, and then paints. In these works, the distinction between the subject as painter and the object as painting no longer exists.
It broke the record of CNY 138,000 held by Rongbao Auction Beijing's "Plateau Poppy" on July 1, 2023.
