Beijing – Christie’s 2023 Hong Kong Autumn Auction will be held from November 24 to December 2. On the eve of the auction, Christie’s will hold preview events in Beijing and Shanghai.From November 5th to 6th, the Beijing preview exhibition will be the first to make a grand appearance at the China World Hotel, displaying more than 200 selected items from this season’s autumn auctions., with masterpieces by famous artists from the 20th and 21st century art, Chinese porcelain and artworks, Chinese calligraphy and painting, as well as magnificent jewelry, luxury watches and other elegant choices. From November 5th to 6th, during the Beijing preview of Christie’s 2023 Hong Kong Autumn Auction,At 15:00 on November 5, Christie's, ArtPro and ArtPro jointly held a special art salon called "Oriental Coordinates - The Road of Chinese Art Pioneers in the 20th Century" in the B1 Lecture Hall of the China World Hotel, inviting three guests, Shao Yiyang, professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and deputy dean of the School of Humanities; Li Lanfang, president of the Beijing Gallery Association and head of Triumph Gallery; and Lin Jiaru, vice chairman of Christie's Asia Pacific region and co-head of the 20th and 21st century art department. Participate and explore the artistic exploration path of the fusion of East and West represented by Chinese art pioneers in the 20th century, such as Sanyu, Lin Fengmian, and Zao Wou-Ki, as well as their inspiration for today.
