On October 6, 2026 at 18:00, China Guardian's "Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art" auction was held in Hong Kong as scheduled.The auction featured 108 lots, achieving a total sales value of HK$74,935,800 and a sell-through rate of 77%. 25% of the lots sold above their estimates, while 51% sold within their estimates.Damien Hearst's "The Five Aspects of God: Birth, Death, Resurrection, the Trinity, and the Oneness of All Things (A, B, C, D, and E, a set of five pieces)" sold for HK$9.51 million, becoming the top-selling lot of the auction.

New record:
Katsuhisa TODA breaks artist's personal record;
Several artists, including Liu Cong, Tong Ziyun, and Chen Weicheng, have set new records for the third-highest prices ever paid for an artist's work.
 

A total of 10 million-dollar lots were auctioned.Among them, Yoshitomo Nara's "From the Cradle of the Universe II" sold for HK$7,287,000, and Kazuo Shiraga's "Untitled" sold for HK$6,702,000;

Lin Fengmian's "Wisteria" sold for HK$5.76 million, Qiu Xiaofei's "Isolated Tree (Diptych)" sold for HK$5.4 million, Marc Chagall's "Lovers in a Yellow-Green Village" sold for HK$4.08 million, and Zhu Dequn's "No. 273" sold for HK$3.6 million, among others.

Top-selling item in this session:
