Christie’s Appoints Rahul Kadakia as President of Asia Pacific, Effective January 2026
Christie’s CEO Bonnie Brennan has announced the appointment of Rahul Kadakia as President of Asia Pacific, effective January 2026. He will also lead the Fine Art and Asian & World Art departments globally.Mr. Jiang joined Christie’s in 1996 and is currently the International Head of Jewelry Department.

Personal Profile
Rahul Kadakia joined Christie's Jewelry Department in London in 1996 and soon after moved to Geneva, where he oversaw the annual Magnificent Jewels auctions held in May and November. In 2004, he was appointed Head of Jewelry Americas, based in New York, and was subsequently promoted to International Head of Jewelry in 2014. One of the world's most renowned auctioneers, Rahul oversees Christie's sales in Geneva, Hong Kong, London, and New York, encompassing key categories such as jewelry, watches, fine wines, Asian art, design, modern and contemporary art, and post-war art. Born in Mumbai, India in 1974, Rahul was appointed Head of Jewelry Americas in 2004, based in New York.
