Michael Andrews' "Group IV: Barracuda Under Skipjack Tuna" was estimated at GBP 3,000,000-5,000,000 and sold for GBP 5,000,000 plus commission GBP 6,060,000.About 56.18 million RMB, a new personal auction record(Breaking the record held by Christie's London "School Iii: Butterfly Fish And Damsel Fish" GBP 3,125,500 on March 8, 2024).

About the Artist
Michael Andrews (30 October 1928 – 19 July 1995) was a British painter. He was born in Norwich, England. In his final year of school, Andrews attended Saturday morning classes at Norwich School of Art, where he studied oil painting with Leslie Davenport. In 1994 he underwent surgery for cancer and died on 19 July 1995 in London.
